mum, ILY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ANUAR. you're freaking old now bro.

it's like i'm suffering from parkinson's disease the way my hands are trembling now.

i'm not having a great time with my lovely parents. daily mum-daughter squabbles. perhaps i've changed drastically. i realised i've failed to fulfil my principal and foremost responsibility as a daughter: to love them. family matters are regarded as trivial and my attention is solely lavished on studies. friendship over kinship.

have faith in me, mum. no one is impeccable, each of us is apt to err. mistakes are inevitable. even if i fail in some ways, believe that i will stand on both feet again when i fall, and that i will find that route to success.

thanks for bringing me up well. you mould up my life: one of the finest, one of the brightest a future that not many can get a taste of. thanks for nurturing me.

don't ever lose hope on me. whatever you do, don't regard them as futile attempts. one day, we will gain the respect that you've been dreaming of eversince you were young.

i've seen how the rich diss the poor.
i've seen how the academically-inclined society belittle the uneducated.
we always have been the latter, the ones who are of minute significance.

one day, we will no longer be.

trust me, i'm so fortunate to have you as a mother, to receive your unconditional love.

** maths solutions for A levels are posted online. i took the trouble to jot down all my answers by the side and i feel insecured as my grade is within the range of B to D. oh wells, i have no idea how they will mark our papers.
